Our History
VEMa Holistic Health was founded by Felecia Brockington, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. It is co-owned with her spouse Vallentio Brockington. Through her 31 years of providing healthcare, she developed a passion for providing medical care to those in rural communities and who are limited to their homes.
The name, VEMa, came about in honor of her grandmothers who were both strong women of faith that suffered from health conditions that limited them to in home care. V denotes the love and vibrance of her maternal grandmother, Volene Coney. E denotes the strength and spirit of resilience of her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Walton. The Ma in VEMa is in remembrance of the impact and legacy her grandmothers left behind.
VEMa Holistic Health is a mobile medical practice that offers Primary Care and Wellness Services at an affordable price. Our holistic approach allows us to treat the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) rather than physical symptoms alone. Our goal is to find the underlying cause of an illness. We identify health risks, prevent diseases (onset and progression), and improve our clients overall health and well-being.
VEMa Holistic Health was created from the passion and desire to remove barriers to healthcare that has been witnessed and identified as accessibility and affordability. Felecia is well versed with the outcomes of chronic disease such as high blood pressure and diabetes. She educates and empowers others to take proactive steps to reduce disease onset and progression and to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
Felecia has the tenacity, as well as the skill set to provide personalized primary care and wellness services that are both affordable and accessible. Felecia is also able to provide mental-health services due to her experience in the management of mental health disorders. Thanks to her zeal, expertise and educational background.
About the Founder
Felecia is a native of Ben Hill County. She is the second oldest of four siblings. She is married to Vallentio Brockington.. They have three sons and one grandson. Her favorite past time is spending time with family.
Her career in the medical field started during her sophomore year of High School when she obtained her certification as a Nurse Assistant.
It was early in her career that she developed a love and passion for caring for others, the medical field, and working with the elderly.
Felecia is a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 31 years of healthcare experience.
She is well-educated and prepared to provide medical and mental-health services.
